That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Harry's Bar is a friendly, energetic micropub in the centre of Alnwick serving ales and whiskies daily. Dogs are welcome inside, so your four-legged mate can come along and supervise the snack situation while you settle in for a daytime drink or a catch-up.

It's a great little stop for a quiet "one quick pint" that turns into a second because the vibes are too good to rush. Later on, things get a bit more lively, with Northern Soul and Motown playing from 10pm to 1am.

For your dog's comfort, it's best to bring them along earlier in the day when it's calmer, rather than during the late-night soundtrack sessions.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, especially earlier in the day when it's calmer. Later at night the bar gets livelier with Northern Soul and Motown from 10pm to 1am, so best to leave paws at home for late-night visits.
