HatHats Coffee

HatHats Coffee runs a welcoming coffee shop inside Whitstable Harbour's South Quay Shed, and dogs are welcome inside alongside you. The café serves coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies, cakes, ice creams and food throughout the day, so you can settle in with your dog for breakfast, a harbour-side lunch or an afternoon pick-me-up without leaving anyone outside.

Open seven days a week, HatHats sits within the shed's mixed visitor hub, right on the waterfront and perfectly placed for a break before or after a harbour wander. Hours vary by season — summertime runs 8am to 6pm daily, while wintertime brings slightly earlier closes on weekdays and Saturdays.

Whether you're starting the day early or stopping by later, it's a straightforward spot to refuel with your dog at your feet. No fuss, just good coffee and a warm welcome for the whole group.
