Hensell Goat World is a wonderfully quirky countryside attraction that tends to delight visitors long before they even reach the gate. Set near Mablethorpe, this family-friendly spot is home to a lively herd of goats alongside other farm animals, creating a cheerful little farmyard experience that feels both relaxed and charmingly hands-on. Visitors can wander the grounds, meet the animals and enjoy the gentle pace of a rural day out.
Dogs accompanying their humans often find the whole experience fascinating, even if they're slightly baffled by the enthusiastic bleating committee on the other side of the fence. Dogs are welcome in the coffee shop and all areas on the farm, so nobody needs to split up or do the pavement shuffle. Drinking water and free poo bags are provided, which is handy if your stash has mysteriously vanished.
It's particularly popular with families, but anyone with a soft spot for animals will find plenty to smile about here. It's a fun, wholesome stop that fits nicely into a day exploring the quieter corners of the Lincolnshire coast.
