Hidcote is a world-famous Arts and Crafts garden near Chipping Campden, 7.6 miles from Stratford upon Avon, managed by the National Trust. Dogs on short fixed leads are welcome across most of the formal outdoor rooms and paths, making it an excellent dog-friendly Cotswold day out. You'll find a café, National Trust shop, plant centre and second-hand bookshop on site, plus terrace and barn kiosk areas.
Your dog is also welcome in the lower room and terrace of Winthrop's Café, the shop, bookshop and plant centre, so you can browse and refuel together. The Old Garden complex, manor house, servery and upper café area are off limits to ordinary pet dogs and short fixed leads are required throughout. Walking route cards are available from Visitor Reception and there's a car park nearby.
The garden opens daily from 10:00 to 17:00, with last admission one hour before closing. If you're visiting with a group, prebook your vehicle space.

Dogs on short fixed leads are welcome in most of the garden and several visitor areas, including the lower café room, terrace, shop, bookshop, plant centre and barn kiosk. They're not allowed in the manor house, Old Garden complex, servery or upper café area.
