Hope & Anchor

Hope & Anchor is a dog-friendly pub in Hope Cove, just outside Salcombe, where dogs are welcome inside including the bar and dining areas. It's a handy stop for walkers heading to or from the coastal path and a practical refuel point for day-trippers exploring the South Devon coast.

Food is served in the dog-friendly areas, so you can settle in with your dog beside you and enjoy a proper meal without splitting the group. The pub is open daily from 9am to 11pm, making it useful for breakfast, lunch or an end-of-walk pint.

There's a pay-and-display car park next door and Hope Cove beach and coastal walks are within easy reach. It's the sort of place where sandy paws and post-walk appetites are entirely understood.
