Hot Chocolaterie is a small but mighty chocolate shop and café perched on Hall Bank, specialising in handmade chocolates created right in Buxton. It’s part artisan chocolatier, part cosy stop-in café — the kind of place that quietly pulls you in and then refuses to let you leave empty-handed.
The focus is firmly on chocolate in all its forms. Expect handcrafted bonbons in bold and classic flavours, alongside hot chocolates, drinks and fresh bakes that you can enjoy in the seating area or take away. It’s indulgent without being over the top — more “treat stop” than full sit-down café, but perfect for slowing things down for a bit.
Small, friendly and a little bit special, it’s the kind of place that turns a quick wander into a chocolate-led detour.
