That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

House Coffee Co. is a family-run coffee shop in Coleham, Shrewsbury, with a cosy, welcoming feel and dogs welcome inside. It's a short walk from both the town centre and The Quarry, which makes it the sort of place that anchors a neighbourhood and fits neatly into a walk-and-coffee routine.
Fresh brunch and lunch are served all day, alongside coffee and cake, so there's enough warmth and choice to make lingering feel completely reasonable. The family-run angle gives it a more personal feel than chain coffee stops, which suits Shrewsbury nicely.
This is a good one for breakfast, a slower midday pause, or building into a regular routine when everyone needs refuelling before carrying on. Being close to The Quarry also makes it ideal for wet-weather coffee stops after muddy paws have had their fun.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside—just settle in on the side of the shop with the counter, so paws and people can enjoy their coffee together without the pavement-waiting shuffle.
