House of the Binns is a historic Scottish estate just outside Edinburgh, set within extensive landscaped parkland with waymarked trails and views across the River Forth. The working estate combines scenic grounds with the opportunity to visit the house itself by pre-booked guided tour, giving dog-friendly visitors flexibility around their four-legged schedule. Dogs are genuinely welcome on the wider estate and parkland, which makes for a proper day out with room to roam.
Trails are well-maintained and the grounds reward a long wander; this is somewhere you can actually tire the dog out rather than loop the car park. Keep your dog on a short lead and under close control at all times, as the estate is actively farmed with livestock and peafowl present.
Avoid the parkland when lambs or calves are young. On-site accessible parking is available and the estate welcomes visitors daily.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome on the wider estate and parkland on a short lead and under close control due to livestock and peafowl. Avoid parkland areas when lambs or calves are present.
