How Hill Trust Environmental Education Centre is a dog-friendly riverside destination set in the heart of the Broads, near Great Yarmouth. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to explore the gardens, including the Secret Garden and to enjoy the woodland walk. There's also a large field area near the car park where dogs can play off-lead—a useful spot to let them stretch their legs before or after a more exploratory lead walk through the grounds.

The house itself is off-limits to ordinary pet dogs (guide dogs only), but the gardens and outdoor spaces are the real draw here. The site has a gentle educational-centre atmosphere, with river-side access and historic wherry interest woven into the visit. Paths can be uneven and muddy, so paws will likely need a wipe down afterwards.

The Secret Gardens are usually open daily from 1 April to 31 October, with visitor toilets available 10:00–17:00 during the season. There's a public car park on site with a suggested donation. It's worth checking the events calendar for any special opening changes before you visit.
