That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Hubbard's Hills in Louth is a leafy valley walk with the river doing its gentle soundtrack thing, plus plenty of space for slow strolls, sniff breaks and that classic dog moment of choosing the dampest route available. It's Louth's answer to "we just need a nice walk" that somehow turns into an hour of happy wandering.
There are easy paths for a relaxed loop, little corners that feel quietly tucked away, and enough scenery to make your camera roll look like you've become a nature person overnight. Great for picnics if you don't mind sharing at least one crisp. Expect muddy patches after rain, so footwear and paw wipes earn their keep here.
It's a proper dog-friendly day out with room to roam, river views and the kind of peaceful wandering that leaves both paws and people happily tired.
Good to know:

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome. Keep them close around wildlife and other walkers, then enjoy the smug post-walk calm on the way back.
