Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Hubbard’s Hills is Louth’s answer to “we just need a nice walk” that somehow turns into an hour of happy wandering. It’s a leafy valley feel with the river doing its gentle soundtrack thing, plus plenty of space for slow strolls, sniff breaks, and that classic dog moment of choosing the dampest route available. Great for picnics if you don’t mind sharing at least one crisp. There are easy paths for a relaxed loop, little corners that feel quietly tucked away, and enough scenery to make your camera roll look like you’ve become a nature person overnight. Expect muddy patches after rain, so footwear and paw wipes earn their keep here.
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome. Keep them close around wildlife and other walkers, then enjoy the smug post-walk calm on the way back.
