Keighley & Worth Valley Railway

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a heritage railway running through the Worth Valley in West Yorkshire, with stations including Haworth, Oxenhope, Ingrow and Keighley. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on standard trains and at the Carriage Works Museum at Ingrow-West, making it a brilliant day out for anyone who refuses to leave the dog behind. Trains run on weekends and selected event days, with dogs permitted on a lead throughout the journey.

Some vintage carriages and on-train restaurant cars don't allow ordinary pet dogs and seats are strictly human-only, but there's plenty of floor space for a well-mannered travelling companion. The Carriage Works Museum offers a fascinating look at historic rolling stock, all with your dog by your side.

Parking is available at several stations along the line, including a large pay-and-display at Haworth Station and limited free parking at Keighley. Check the timetable before you visit and bring a blanket if your dog prefers not to travel on polished carriage floors.
