The King's Head is a village country inn in Kettlewell, tucked into Upper Wharfedale around five miles from Grassington. Dogs are welcome inside in the bar and part of the restaurant, so the whole pack can settle in together whether you're stopping for a pint or lunch after a walk.

Food is served alongside the usual drinks selection, making it a practical mid-visit refuel for walkers exploring the Dales. The relaxed welcome means wet paws and muddy leads won't raise an eyebrow and your dog can join you at the table while you catch your breath.

It's a useful stop on longer Wharfedale days, with the kind of no-fuss dog policy that makes planning around four legs a lot less stressful. A proper village pub that knows what dog owners need.
