The Kings Head is a traditional pub in Llandudno — reputedly the oldest in town — sitting right beside the Great Orme Tramway stop on Old Road. Dogs are welcome inside, so the whole group can come in together without anyone drawing the short straw on pavement duty.
Open daily from midday, the pub serves home-cooked food at lunchtimes and evenings, with a roaring log fire in the stone-floor bar making it a particularly good call on a wet North Wales afternoon. Real ales, pub classics and Sunday roasts keep the options solid whether you're stopping in after a tram ride or settling in for the evening.
It's a well-worn local with a genuine welcome for dogs and their people — the kind of place where an under-table nap after a walk up the Orme is practically expected.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Free treats available
Doggy menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside the pub, with tables on the stone floor by the log fire that are well suited to four-legged companions. Nobody has to wait outside.
