Laugherne Brook Local Nature Reserve in Worcester is a wilder-feeling green space that runs for about a mile through woodland, scrub, meadows and grassland. That makes it especially good for dog walks that feel softer and less formal than a park lap, with more of a local escape-hatch atmosphere to them.

It suits sniffy dogs, slower walkers, and anyone who wants greenery with a bit more texture and variety. The reserve offers everyday wandering with birdsong, undergrowth, and "important hedge news" over pavements and traffic.

A lovely option for dogs who prefer natural, textured routes where the undergrowth holds more interest than the usual park circuit. Perfect for local everyday walks when both paws and people need a softer, wilder reset.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome on the reserve. Please keep it clean, respect wildlife habitats, and remember the undergrowth belongs to nature, not excavation projects.
