Learchild Dog Field is a safe, secure dog walking field completely enclosed by 1.8m specialised dog fencing, so your dog can run off-lead while you enjoy a rare moment of relaxed breathing. It’s set in the scenic Whittingham Vale in North Northumberland with beautiful views towards the Cheviot Hills, which makes even muddy paws feel slightly more majestic.

The field sits on a working farm, and when you book you get the space privately for you and your dog. It’s ideal for training, games, recall practice, or simply letting your dog do that full-speed sprint they’ve been saving up since breakfast. You can visit alone or bring friends and family, and you can bring up to six dogs, which is either “great for socialising” or “chaos, but make it wholesome”.

There’s a tap for fresh drinking water, and you’ll want to bring your own bowl. Your dog will still try to drink from every puddle first, but at least you’ve offered a respectable option.

Dog Policy:

This is a dog-only venue by design. Up to six dogs per booking are welcome, and the field is fully enclosed for off-lead use. Bring your dog’s bowl for the water tap.
