Leonard’s Coffee

Leonard's Coffee is a characterful coffee house tucked into Fowler's Yard, just off Silver Street in Durham's city centre and dogs are welcome inside. It's the kind of spot that works for a mid-morning pause with a flat white and a slice of cake, or a proper brunch when you've been circling the shops and the dog's had enough.

The space has a warm, laid-back feel and there's a strong local following for the coffee and homemade cakes. Your dog can settle beside the table while you catch your breath and fuel up for the rest of the day.

Leonard's opens Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm and stays closed Monday and Tuesday. The yard location keeps things quieter than the main drag, which helps when you're wrangling a lead and a tray at the same time.
