Loch Katrine Cruises

Loch Katrine Cruises offers lochside day trips in the Trossachs where well-behaved dogs can join you on board the vessels. Your dog is welcome on the outer open deck of all boats, on a lead and supervised throughout the cruise. The steamship sails daily in summer and on select occasions in winter and there's a small charge of £2 per dog for the cruise, subject to availability.

Dogs are also welcome on the Steamship Cafe veranda and in the Pier Cafe at Stronachlachar, so you can grab refreshments with your dog by the water. Indoor Steamship Cafe access is for assistance dogs only, but the veranda makes a practical spot to pause between sailings.

Parking is available at both Trossachs Pier and Stronachlachar Pier. It's a relaxed, scenic destination where the boat trip itself is the main event and your dog gets to be part of the whole lochside experience without being left behind at the car.
