Days Out Are For Dogs Too

A family-run garden centre near Skegness with the kind of broad, temptation-filled setup that turns “just popping in” into a full outing with suspicious speed. Lyndhurst says it has been going for over 50 years and stocks plants, trees, shrubs, homeware, garden accessories and a clothes concession, so it covers far more than compost and trays of bedding plants. It feels like the sort of place that suits a proper mooch rather than a quick errand, especially if you enjoy browsing your way into several mildly unnecessary purchases. Garden centres are very good at this trick. A strong choice for plants, gifts, wandering and that slightly delusional optimism that this time you really will stay on top of the garden.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside, which makes a garden-centre mooch much easier and much more fun. Expect browsing, café temptation and a dog joining the outing like your slightly muddy shopping assistant.
