Mad Dog Brewery Co is a city-centre taproom on Castle Street in Cardiff where dogs are welcome inside, so the whole group can settle in without splitting up. It's a public brewery taproom serving its own beers and hot food Tuesday to Saturday, with proper kitchen hours from late afternoon through to 9pm most evenings and from lunchtime on Saturdays.
The indoor taproom is open from 3pm Tuesday to Friday and from noon on Saturday, running through to 11pm each day. Food service runs from 5pm to 9pm Tuesday to Thursday, 3pm to 9pm on Friday and 12.30pm to 9pm on Saturday, so there's plenty of scope for a sit-down meal with the dog at your feet.
It's a useful stop if you're exploring the core visitor quarter with a dog in tow and want somewhere warm, welcoming and properly dog-friendly to pause for food and a pint. The brewery atmosphere and Castle Street location make it a good pit-stop during a Cardiff dog day out.
