Magic of Life Butterfly House

The Magic of Life Butterfly House is an indoor tropical butterfly house in the Rheidol Valley, just outside Aberystwyth. The attraction welcomes dogs into the main indoor tropical house alongside the butterflies, insects and other displays, making it an unusually inclusive visit for anyone whose dog fancies mingling with exotic wildlife in a warm, plant-filled environment. It's a proper indoor experience and one of the few butterfly houses in the UK that explicitly welcomes dogs inside, so you can keep the whole group together while you explore.

The venue is open daily, with hours varying seasonally—10:00 to 17:00 from April to October and 10:00 to 16:00 during the winter months. Parking is available at the neighbouring Rheidol Visitor Centre car park.

The venue advises following the brown road signs rather than relying entirely on satnav, as some devices can misroute visitors. Pay on arrival; admission prices are published on the official site.
