Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

Manorbier Castle is a medieval fortress near Tenby where well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to explore the grounds and ground-floor areas. Set within a classic Pembrokeshire coastal setting, the castle offers gardens, historic interiors and a cafe, making it a strong day-out destination when you want to keep your dog with you rather than leaving them behind. Dogs are welcome throughout the castle grounds and in the lower visitor areas, with water bowls provided near the cafe and outdoor seating available.
The site includes some steep steps and uneven walkways, so bear your dog's confidence and your own in mind when navigating the stonework. Mess must be bagged and taken with you. Parking is limited within the grounds to disabled spaces, with the public beach car park recommended for most visitors—a short uphill walk to the entrance.
Admission is paid on the door, with no pre-booking needed for standard visits.
