Right in the heart of Warkworth, The Masons Arms is one of those pubs that quietly steals the show. Warm, welcoming and the kind of place you end up lingering in longer than planned, it works just as well for a quick pint as it does for a full, sit-down meal. The food is properly worth your time, and the drinks list is exactly what you want from a great local, from well-kept ales to wines, spirits and everything in between.

Dogs are not just welcome here, they are genuinely looked after. Water bowls are always ready, treats are handed out with enthusiasm, and the dog menu is on another level, featuring options from Sir Woofchesters, The Canine Menu, Scoops and Betty Miller. Add in dog ice cream and iced lollies and it quickly becomes clear this is not a token gesture, it is a full experience for them too.

This is one of those rare spots where dog-friendly is not just a label, it is part of how the place runs. A proper find in Warkworth, and exactly the kind of venue The Dog Friendly Map was made for.
