An artisan Polish bakery at the top of Wyle Cop, filled with fresh breads, pastries, cakes and the kind of baked-goods temptation that makes sensible decision-making noticeably harder. Masovia has a family-run feel and brings something a little different to the Shrewsbury food scene, which gives it extra appeal if you like finding places that feel distinctive rather than interchangeable. It works brilliantly as a coffee-and-pastry stop, but it is also the sort of place where the counter can derail all original plans in the best possible way. For anyone who enjoys a bakery with strong visual temptation and plenty of fresh-made charm, this looks like a very easy detour to justify. Excellent crumb-based chaos potential.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, which makes this an excellent bakery stop for coffee, pastries and very focused crumb surveillance. Expect a warm little pause, serious baked-goods temptation and a dog hoping the laws of gravity stay on their side.
