The Mill Inn is a dog-friendly pub in the heart of Aldeburgh, opposite the beach and a short stroll from the town centre. Dogs are welcome inside the public bar and restaurant area, so the whole group can settle in together after a windswept walk along the seafront. The kitchen serves lunch and evening food Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday lunch also on offer.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11:30am to 10pm, Sunday noon to 4pm and the pub is closed on Mondays. It's a handy spot for a post-beach pint or a proper sit-down meal without leaving anyone outside on lead duty.
Aldeburgh's shingle beach is right across the road, making this an ideal base for a coastal dog day. Free street parking is mentioned nearby and the location puts you within easy reach of the town's independent shops and the working fish huts on the beach.
