Mind the Gap is a Broadstairs micropub with a railway theme and a real ale core, making it a good fit for drinkers who like somewhere slightly quirky but still firmly pub-first. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while someone else enjoys the beer.
It is known for real ales, ciders, wines and bar snacks, with live music adding extra life at weekends and a location close to the station that makes it an easy stop on a town wander. The micropub setup keeps it intimate and characterful rather than polished.
A strong option for people who want something small, local and properly rooted in Broadstairs' independent pub scene, with paws welcome at the table.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside but should be kept on a lead and off the furniture. Live music runs Saturday and Sunday from 3–5pm and can be loud, so owners may want to consider this when planning.
