Mocha is a dog-friendly café and chocolate shop on Richmond Market Place, where dogs are welcome inside both the café and the retail space. It's a handy central stop for coffee, cakes and handmade chocolates, with the bonus of browsing the shop alongside your dog.

The café serves coffee and a tempting range of cakes and desserts and the attached shop stocks artisan chocolates and sweet treats to take away. Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4:30pm, it fits neatly into a Richmond shopping or sightseeing day.

Dogs can settle in with you at the table while you sample the menu or pick up gifts from the chocolate counter. It's a relaxed, visitor-friendly spot in the heart of town and the indoor dog welcome makes it practical for year-round visits whatever the weather outside.
