Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

Morrab Gardens is a formal subtropical garden in the centre of Penzance, open dawn to dusk every day and free to enter. Well-behaved dogs are always welcome on a short lead throughout the gardens, making it a calm, manageable stop within easy day-trip range of St Ives. The gardens are genuinely subtropical, designed for browsing rather than ball-throwing and the short-lead rule helps keep both planting and other visitors happy.
No extendable leads are allowed and you'll need to pick up after your dog. It's a straightforward visit: arrive, walk slowly, leave without the usual car-park drama.
Morrab Gardens works well as a short pause on a longer Penzance day or paired with another stop nearby. There's no on-site parking, but several public car parks serve the town centre and Wherrytown Car Park is within a pleasant walk of the gardens.
