That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Morwen Le Faye Tearoom is a lovely little Robin Hood's Bay café stop for dog owners who want something cosy, relaxed and reassuringly cake-shaped in the middle of a village day out. Dogs are welcome inside, which means nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle while the rest of the group orders tea.

This small family-run tearoom serves freshly made sandwiches, paninis, homemade cakes and scones, with gluten-free options too, which makes it a very handy stop when everyone needs an indoor reset. It suits that point in the day when the dog has done enough socialising to become quietly floppy and the humans need tea, lunch, and five calm minutes by a table.

Tucked in the heart of the Bay, it feels properly local and pleasantly unfussy. Ideal for slower holiday pottering, snack-based decision making, and a dog settling in like they have visited weekly for years.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Treats available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside. Keep them close, settled and politely under the table while the tea arrives, and try not to let anyone launch an unscheduled scone inspection.
