That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Mr Cooper’s Coffee House is the kind of independent Whitby café that slots easily into a dog-friendly day of strolling, browsing, and snack-based decision-making. It has a warm, casual feel that makes it a handy stop for coffee, cake, or a lighter lunch when everyone needs a breather without derailing the whole day.

Well placed for town-centre wandering, it suits that classic “let’s just stop for twenty minutes” plan that quietly turns into a longer sit-down while the dog settles and the people recharge. A lovely little option for an easygoing refuel in the middle of Whitby bustle.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are very welcome here and quickly realise they’ve landed somewhere good. There are treats on hand, plenty of cuddles and fuss from the team, and even a puppuccino for those who like to go all in. 🐾
