Mr H’s Tearoom

Mr H’s Tearoom is a proper little time-capsule tearoom in the heart of Ambleside. Think vintage décor, mismatched china and the kind of cosy tables that make your wet boots feel slightly less offensive.

It’s a lovely stop for loose-leaf tea, coffee and classic tearoom bits like cakes, scones and light lunches. It’s walk-in rather than book-ahead, so it’s perfect for an “we need tea now” moment after a wander.
