That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Seaton Delaval Hall is one of those grand National Trust outings that gives you both a proper day-out feel and plenty of outdoor roaming. Dogs on leads are welcome in the grounds, with a dedicated dog-friendly seating area in the Brewhouse Café, which makes it especially practical for a dog-inclusive visit. The mix of estate grounds, outdoor space and historic setting gives it strong “stretch the legs, see something beautiful, then refuel” appeal. It’s a very solid option when you want somewhere more substantial than a quick café stop.
