The National Waterways Museum at Gloucester sits inside the historic Llanthony Warehouse at Gloucester Docks and tells the story of the docks and the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal. It's a journey through 200 years of dockside history, rooted in the working life of this once-busy waterfront.

Dogs are welcome inside both the museum and the coffee shop, making it a strong indoor-friendly choice for a Gloucester day out with a dog. Water bowls, free treats and doggy ice cream are all available, so hopeful noses will be well looked after.
