That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Naunton Park in Cheltenham is the kind of place that feels quietly tucked away, like you've stumbled onto a local favourite rather than a busy town green. The dog slows here. Less noise, more birds, and that gentle "we can take our time" feeling.
The park splits into two distinct moods. One side leans calm and ornamental, centred around a striking weeping beech and framed by hedges and cottages that give it a slightly hidden, almost storybook feel. The other opens out into a wider playing field with views stretching towards the hills, where walks become longer loops and pauses turn into proper sit-down moments.
There's a bit of life woven in too. A refurbished play area, wildflowers softening the edges, and benches placed perfectly for taking in the view while the lead goes slack for a minute. It's not about big attractions. It's about space, quiet, and letting the walk breathe a little.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome throughout the park, so bring the lead and enjoy the loop. It's the kind of place where both paws and people can take their time.
