New Inn Appletreewick is a proper Dales pub tucked in the village of Appletreewick, between Grassington and Bolton Abbey and dogs are welcome inside throughout. Walkers heading along Wharfedale often finish here for a pint, a fire and lunch with the dog under the table where it belongs. The pub serves food at lunch Monday and Wednesday to Sunday and dinner Wednesday to Saturday.

A dog menu is available, so nobody has to share their chips or feel guilty ordering pudding while the dog watches. Dog beer is also listed.

The New Inn is open Monday 12–5pm, closed Tuesday, Wednesday 12–7pm, Thursday to Saturday 12–10pm and Sunday 12–6pm. It's a welcoming, walker-friendly base with rooms if you want to stay the night and explore more of the Dales with your dog in tow.
