Newquay Orchard in Newquay is a community-run green space that feels like a breath of fresh air away from the busy bits. Think volunteering spirit, nature-friendly projects, and a lovely sense of people making something for people. Dogs are welcome inside the Heart & Soul café, so you can pop in for breakfast, lunch or cake without splitting the group.

The café is open daily from 9am to 4:30pm, serving food grown just down the path in the market garden. It's a great place for a slower wander, a bit of calm, and a change of scenery from beach-to-street routines. The seven-acre site is open all day, every day, with orchards, forest garden, community grow spaces and Cornish stone terraces. Free parking is shared with Newquay Sports Centre.

Outdoors, this is a top-tier good dog ownership zone: dogs need to stay on leads to protect the young trees and vegetables, and always pick up after your dog. Keep greetings polite, give wildlife space, and leave the place tidy. You'll walk out feeling slightly more peaceful and slightly more proud of humanity, with a dog who's had a proper sniff and a change of scene.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside the café and throughout the seven acres, but leads are required to protect the young trees and growing vegetables. Pick up after your dog, keep greetings polite, and everyone gets to enjoy the calm.
