Newquay’s self-service dog wash sits at the dog-friendly Headland Hotel & Spa, making it the ideal “before the car becomes a sandpit” pit stop. It’s open to hotel guests and non-guests, so nobody has to flash a room key or pretend they’re staying in Suite 12.

The location is spot on: about two minutes from year-round dog-friendly Fistral Beach and roughly a minute from the coast path, perfect for rinsing off salty fur and mud-magnet paws after a beach blast or clifftop stomp. The wash runs seven days a week, 8am to 8pm, with no appointment needed. Parking is free while using it, just register the vehicle at reception to avoid surprise charges.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome. Wash station rules are simple: keep them on a lead until bath time, expect a little splash zone chaos, and please leave the area tidy for the next muddy adventurer.
