That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

A proper stretch-your-legs kind of park, where open green space rolls out in front of you and the dog immediately clocks it as “excellent zoomie territory.” Set just back from the seafront in Cliftonville, this is a mix of wide grassy areas, quieter woodland edges and a few tucked-away corners that feel like you’ve found something slightly secret.
Closer to Northdown House, things feel a bit more structured with walled gardens, then it softens into open fields and tree-lined paths where sniffing becomes a full-time job. There’s plenty of space for a roam, a wander, or a “just five more minutes” loop that somehow turns into a full park circuit.
It’s an easy, everyday kind of place. Dog walkers, families, the odd football game, and that steady rhythm of people just being outside. No café, no fuss, just space, trees, and a dog who is absolutely not ready to leave yet.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome throughout the park, with plenty of open space for walking and exploring. Please keep dogs under control, especially around other park users, and use a lead where signage requests it. Clean up after your dog and be mindful near the walled gardens and busier areas.
