Northpoint Café

Northpoint Café is a relaxed North Street spot where dogs are welcome inside. It's a straightforward all-day café serving coffee, cakes and brunch, handy for the cathedral end of St Andrews. Inside, you'll find the sort of calm, low-key atmosphere that suits a mid-morning flat white or a quick lunch with your dog tucked under the table.

The menu covers the café essentials—breakfast plates, toasties, scones and decent pastries—and the opening hours run from half-eight in the morning until five. Good for a refuel while you're exploring the old streets around the cathedral, or a proper sit-down when you've both had enough of the wind.

Dogs can settle in beside you and there's no fuss about them being there. Open Monday to Sunday, 8:30am–5pm.
