Norton Garden Centre sits on Tewkesbury Road in Twigworth, just outside Gloucester and within easy reach of Cirencester. Dogs are warmly welcomed in the main retail areas, so your terrier can supervise the bedding plant negotiations and you won't need to leave them in the car while you browse.

The centre offers a practical range of plants, garden supplies and seasonal stock, with free parking and a carry-to-car service when you've overcommitted. Spare poop bags are available at the tills, which is the sort of quiet thoughtfulness that makes life easier when you've run out mid-trip.

The on-site café is a useful stop for lunch or coffee, though dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio only—assistance Dogs are welcome inside. It's a straightforward, dog-friendly garden-centre visit with no fuss and plenty of space to wander with leads untwisted.
