The Old Neptune is a historic beachfront pub in Whitstable where dogs are welcome inside. You'll find it right on the shingle by the harbour and it serves food throughout the week—useful after a salty walk along the waterfront. It also removes the familiar doorway calculation over who waits outside with the dog while everyone else heads in.

The pub opens Monday to Wednesday 11:30am–9:30pm, Thursday to Saturday 11:30am–11pm and Sunday midday–9pm. The kitchen serves lunch daily and extends to evening food on Monday, Friday and Saturday. That simple inclusion is especially useful when the weather turns or the day needs a proper sit-down pause.

Dogs can settle in with you at the table while you eat. It's a practical stop for anyone combining harbour walks with a proper sit-down meal. That straightforward access is the detail that turns a quick drink or meal into a genuine break for the whole group.
