That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Set in the heart of the Peak District, The Olive Tree Farm Shop & Café blends that “quick coffee stop” energy with a proper farm-shop wander — the kind where you go in for a drink and leave with half a bag of local bits you didn’t plan on buying.

The café side leans into fresh, homemade food with a focus on locally sourced produce, keeping things simple, seasonal, and satisfying. Expect breakfasts, light lunches, cakes, and coffee that fit neatly into a post-walk pause or a slower, linger-a-bit kind of visit.

Alongside it, the farm shop adds a second layer to the experience — shelves of local goods, gifts, and treats that make it feel more like a small destination than just somewhere to eat. It’s one of those places where the pace naturally drops a notch, and nobody’s rushing you back out the door.

👉 This is your “coffee… and then a little browse… and then maybe a cake too” stop.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, making it an easy stop after a walk rather than a split-the-pack situation. Well-behaved dogs are expected to stay settled while you eat.
