That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

On The Rocks in Newquay is a bay-view bar that's all about easy drinks and coastal atmosphere. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can bring your best mate along for the sit-down part of the plan. Expect a solid selection behind the bar, a friendly local crowd, and a setting that makes you want to stay for "just one more" while you watch the sea do its thing.

It's a great spot for sunset timing, pre-dinner drinks, or a relaxed evening when you want somewhere unfussy but lively. Bar etiquette applies: short lead, calm settle, and no trying to introduce yourself to every person in the building unless invited.

Outdoors, good owner basics apply: pick up after your dog and give other tables space. No wet-dog shake-offs indoors, and please resist the classic snack-spotting missions at neighbouring tables.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle. Bar etiquette applies: short lead, calm settle, and no wet-dog shake-offs or snack-spotting missions at other tables.
