Parcevall Hall Gardens is a 24-acre hillside garden near Skipton, set within the Yorkshire Dales and open daily from April to October. The formal terraces, woodland paths and seasonal planting make it a proper day out for dogs who enjoy a lead walk with scenery and variety. Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome throughout the gardens, from the upper lawns down through the wooded banks.
Free parking is available on site and the gardens are open 10am to 6pm, with last admission at 4.30pm. Group visits can be arranged in advance.
Expect a managed garden atmosphere with steps, terraces and winding paths—this is not off-lead rambling, but it's a lovely outing for dogs who are happy to explore at a steady pace. The tea room and visitor facilities are on site, making it easy to plan a few hours in one of the Dales' quieter corners.
