Parker's Yard – Split Screen Cafe is a compact village café in Ruddington, a few miles south of Nottingham, serving light bites and drinks alongside a browseable selection of local crafts and gifts. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in together while your four-legged supervisor keeps an eye on proceedings from under the table.

The café opens Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm and Sunday from 11.30am to 4pm, making it a useful mid-morning or lunchtime stop when you're exploring the area with the dog. The indoor seating keeps everyone together whatever the weather and dogs are asked to stay on the lead.

Ruddington makes a handy south-of-city pause for dog owners visiting the village or passing through and the easy-going café feel and local-goods angle add a browseable dimension to the stop. It's the kind of place where the lead stays looped round your chair leg and nobody minds a gentle sniff inspection of the neighbouring table.
