Parkhill Canine Paddock is a secure dog field in Coxhoe, about four miles from Durham city centre, offering private bookable slots for off-lead exercise. The paddock features two fully fenced fields – Beech Field and Oak Field – where your dog can run, sniff and burn off energy without the worry of escape routes or uninvited canine guests.
Each session is booked privately, so you get the space to yourselves. It's particularly useful for recall training, nervous dogs or those who prefer their own company and it saves the logistical shuffle of finding a quiet corner in a public park.
Slots are bookable through the venue's social channels and Linktree. It's one of the closest secure field options to Durham, making it a practical choice when your dog needs a proper gallop and you'd rather not drive half the county to get it.
