Pearson's Arms is a seafront-adjacent pub in Whitstable where dogs are welcome inside the bar and downstairs snug. Food is served throughout the dog-friendly areas, so the whole group can settle in after a harbour or beach walk without splitting up. The upstairs restaurant is dog-free, but downstairs there's proper pub hospitality and plenty of reason to linger.

A short stroll from Whitstable station and the seafront, it's a useful refuelling stop when the tide, the sniffing or the weather has worn everyone out. Opening daily from noon, it works equally well for a post-walk lunch or an early-evening pint with your dog supervising proceedings from under the table. Food hours vary by day, so it's worth checking timings if a meal is essential to the plan.

Dogs must leave by 9pm, so factor that in if a late supper is on the agenda. The bar and snug keep things relaxed, the kitchen runs most days with seasonal locally sourced food, and the whole setup is built for the kind of visit that starts with a beach sniff and ends with a very contented dog.
