That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Pedal and Paws is a bicycle-themed bistro in Horncastle where the smell of coffee replaces the smell of chain oil, and dogs are welcome inside. It's proudly dog and cyclist friendly, which makes it a brilliant stop after a ride, a walk, or a "we deserve brunch" outing.

The atmosphere is warm and informal, with good food and proper coffee that helps the owner recover from whatever fresh chaos the dog invented that morning. It's the kind of place where a dog can settle under the table while the humans talk routes, snacks, and the eternal question of whether cake counts as fuel.

Worth knowing: the bike shop side has been paused for now, but the bistro heart still beats, and dogs still get beds, treats, ice cream and sausages alongside plenty of fuss if they're in the mood for cuddles.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, with beds, treats, ice cream and sausages on offer. Cuddles are available too, assuming your dog hasn't already voted for dignified aloofness.
