Penleys is a dog-friendly café at Richmond Golf Club, where dogs are welcome inside the lounge area so the whole group can settle in for coffee, lunch and a proper break. It's a sit-in spot for visitors and walkers within easy reach of Richmond, serving breakfast, light lunches and drinks Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 am to 3 pm.

The clubhouse lounge offers indoor seating where your dog can relax under the table while you work through a sandwich and a flat white. It's the kind of place that solves the where-can-we-stop question when you've been out with the dog and everyone needs a sit-down.

Penleys is closed on Mondays. The café is open Tuesday to Sunday, 9.30 am to 3 pm, making it a useful midday option for Richmond dog owners and anyone exploring the area with four paws in tow.
