Pescado Lounge is one of those reliable all-rounders that makes dog-friendly town exploring feel much easier. Sitting near the river, it has the familiar Lounge mix of roomy interiors, relaxed energy, and a menu broad enough to keep different appetites happy without anyone getting dramatic. It works well for brunch, lunch, coffee, or that useful in-between stop when everybody needs feeding but nobody can quite agree what they want. The feel is colourful, casual, and comfortably unpretentious, which makes it a strong option for Whitby days involving the dog, a lot of walking, and at least one unplanned snack detour.
