The Plough Inn is an Arkell's pub in Stratton on the western edge of Cirencester, where dogs are welcome inside in both the bar and the restaurant. Food is served throughout the dog-friendly areas, so you can settle in for a proper meal with your dog at your feet rather than splitting the group.
The pub runs a full menu and has the feel of a food-led village local with strong visitor appeal. There's a car park on site, which takes the sting out of arriving with wet paws and all the usual lead-and-bag logistics.
The Plough is closed on Mondays and opens from 5pm on Tuesdays, with midday starts Wednesday to Sunday. It's a straightforward, reliable stop when you're heading into town from the west or looking for somewhere that gets both the food and the dog welcome right.
